Started with some promise, but Future couldn’t hold back from the eventual slide into mid that hit around halfway through the record, unable to recover by the end even with some solid tracks on the last stretch. 712PM, Keep It Burnin, Puffin On Zootiez, and Holy Ghost are all legit quality, the rest is same old same old

Quick Comment: I was expecting a good record from Future and I believe that’s what we got. Considering we get about 10 future projects a year and those are still mostly quality, I felt this would be one of his best. I haven’t listened to all of his projects but I feel this would be one of his best. Future in this project has some of the best bars I’ve heard from him, love the softer more chill kinda vibe to him. The harder more hype style probably suits him more I still would like him to continue that style in the future (pun intended, I know I’m terrible shut up).
Lyrically like I’ve already sort of touched on it being really positive. Tracks like “PUFFIN ON ZOOTIEZ” really impressed me lyrically, some of his best lyrical work, I felt like it was pretty consistent in that regard. I don’t think that there were many tracks that he did average on. Features I thought at times were a bit stinky but there were some bangers, Kanye smashed it, I liked Drakes and the rest weren’t too bad I guess.
Production-wise thought it was always positive. The versatility in changing from the hype to more RnB then back and back again I found very impressive. The work done with the vocals more so towards the end I found really impressive. Really captures the emotions of Future or whoever is singing at the time, just really smashed it out of the park in that aspect 🙂
Overall, really positive Album by Future can’t wait for the next project 🙂

What annoys me about this album is that by 2022, artists such as Travis, Thugger, Don Toliver, and many others have taken trap rap to new creative direction but Future doesnt do that here.

Despite the dramatic title and cover, I Never Liked You is about as bland as trap gets, which is unfortunate because the dude is a trap OG. This is probably the smoothest ye feature in a minute which is nice but overall, it is a bit monotonous.
